1. “Old English” doesn’t just mean “English as spoken a long time ago.” It refers to the earliest spoken form of English + died out ~500 years before Shakespeare was born. 2. There’s no need to add an “e” to Old, unless you also add “800” after “English” and have the malt liquor in mind.

Perpetually confused by pro-AI boosters pointing out how *fast* GenAI produces art, writing, etc. As if speed were a virtue in and of itself. Why does animation need to be produced quickly? Why rush writing? I genuinely don’t get it.

I think French ignores the many aspects of traditional GOP ideology to which Trump has acceded, including the most central, such as tax cuts for the rich, which has been the major legislative accomplishment of both of his terms, climate change denial, conservative judges, deregulation, and so on.
