Very good article. Tracks with articles written for ARMY magazine here in the states about the US Army’s need to think about modernization more holistically. The big 5 were fielded ICW wholesale changes to doctrine,training, organizational design — the entire DOTLMPF-P suite as we say here.

As a former Combat Developer and Cavalry SME I go on record as saying no line Squadron since VN has had 1,200 troopers. Our ACR (G-series MTOE) was smaller than that and 1-18 was a RSTA SQDN
