I have largely memory holed Alien Earth because of how bad the last few episodes were, but it started out so strong. It does *so many* things GREAT. It really suffers from the "we've got to stretch this thing out into multiple seasons" problem. Also the pet alien thing is just dumb

I think one of the biggest "lack of media literacy" examples that I see so often is when a movie carries the viewer to a viewpoint that seems good until you think about it (and then it's bad), and people get upset that a movie endorses or says a certain bad thing.

Jumping on the 9 games trend. Part the reason there's not any current era games is my lack of time, money, energy. However, I also think games were better when they weren't all trying to check the same boxes and look shiny. Game design was better when they had to be creative to overcome limitations
