So when libs say, you need to do incremental progress like gay marriage, it completely ignores the rollbacks that have happened in 5 years. People do not go out of their way and stand in lines for 4 hours on a work day to vote for the lesser evil. People don’t phone bank or do poll driving for the lesser evil. You need to have people EXCITED to vote for you to win. “I’m not as bad as the other guy” is an election-losing argument.
