I used to think my mama didn’t play about her vida fitness, but it just hit me that she went to the gym 5-7 times a week because it was the only place she could get affordable childcare for a couple hours. I don’t know how immigrants (and mothers in general) with no village do it.

This weekend I got the call no dog parent wants to get— my fur baby was attacked by another dog at daycare. even though she’s okay now, it just really broke my heart and I’m tearing up randomly. I’m thankful the other dog owner has been very accountable and paid her emergency vet bill.
