iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I hear you. It marked a generation for sure.

Happy early birthday! Yes, please send pics. I hope y'all have a fantastic time.

So much fear and confusion (and that was from afar! I can't imagine being there), including whether there would be additional targets. Fort Worth is home to Lockheed Martin and a Joint Reserve Base. Seeing low-flying planes near them (which of course is normal for takeoff/landing) freaked me out.

I'd spent the first night in a new apartment. My mom was helping me unpack and we were listening to the radio when we heard about the first plane. Turned on the TV to see coverage and then saw the second plane, etc.

Wow. You called it back then! Watching that day unfold was surreal.

Aww, I love it! I hope y'all have an amazing time!

Taking a moment this morning to remember 9/11 and the terrible loss. So many lives changed in an instant. Where were you/what were you doing when you heard/saw the news?

You've met Susan in person before, no?

I am begging you to stop using AI to write your video scripts. Shortform content is becoming unwatchable and that's not even the crazy part

Anyway, throw some money to period.org or allianceforperiodsupplies.org if you have the ability bc weird dudes are afraid of menstruation and that shouldn’t be our problem

Y’all already knew this, but NextDoor app is just a bunch of Karens.

Hey @thebloggess.bsky.social! Caught your book on the “shop used” shelf at the wonderful Bookstore on the Square in Fort Collins. It’s not signed, so please come visit. :)

Yes!! There are times when I can hear birds and the app can’t “hear” so there must be some proximity/loudness factor? At any rate, it’s very cool. Glad you’re enjoying it too!

I’m obsessed with the Merlin app for birdsong identification. Also, there’s a lot of white winged doves around which means I’ve always got Stevie Nix in my head.

Officially a resident of Colorado which means (among many other fantastic things!) I can log into Bluesky without privacy-invasive age verification.

I finally saw the @bsky.app age verification and nope'd right out of providing 1) my credit card, 2) partial SSN, or 3) ID scan. The bypass is to VPN on a server outside of TX. C'mon.

Haven’t seen it yet…

Carrie Dils @carriedils.com · 30/06/2026

That’s interesting. I use “instead of” fairly regularly in natural speech (can’t think if I’ve used it recently in writing). Didn’t think of that as an AI-gotcha.

I'm looking for examples of using Claude/Agent skills for writing content in a brand voice. Specifically, I'm thinking about workflows for my podcast (e.g., drafting show notes, email blasts, etc.). So far I'm liking this model the @wordpress.org marketing team uses: github.com/WordPress/ma...

Hot take: AI is just a less cool version of Conky from Peewee's Playhouse.

Awesome! Thank you and I will. :)

💯 game changer! Happy redesigning!
