I forgot I didn't post the drawing from @carefulren.bsky.social . It's based on the song "Poison," specifically performed by Powerwolf. Also, today is my birthday, this day of the year again. Hooray? #kylux

I kept forgetting to post this. Please enjoy my contribution to @carefulren.bsky.social Everyone has always made choices for Hux, but when he begins a relationship with Kylo Ren, he hopes that things might finally be different. Then, everything goes wrong. archiveofourown.org/works/80648031

Seeing how many folks are posting theirs, here is my contribution to the Careful Ren kylux anniversary zine. It is called "Welcome to Arkanis". I am very grateful to @carefulren.bsky.social for bringing the fandom together like this. It is an honour, to stand alongside of so many talented folks.

A traditional drawing depicting Armitage Hux welcoming Kylo Ren to his homeplanet Arkanis.
The two of them stand on a cliff overlooking a valley with a lake and a jagged mountainside with some heavy clouds passing overhead.

ALL the zines (except for 5) have been mailed out! <3 If your name starts with a G and you only sent me $3, I've been trying to get a hold of you. PLEASE check your email!

Careful Ren Zine @carefulren.bsky.social · 27/11/2025

I will also be finishing up the PDF this weekend if I can and get that out ASAP to everyone who ordered!

0110

Careful Ren Zine @carefulren.bsky.social · 27/11/2025

Due to weight restrictions (and my already having underestimated postage), I cannot combine orders. If you ordered more than one, they will arrive separately!

080

Careful Ren Zine @carefulren.bsky.social · 27/11/2025

The first 75 orders have been mailed out! It might take me a bit longer from here out to get the rest moving, as I have to work part time tomorrow.

0130

Careful Ren Zine @carefulren.bsky.social · 27/11/2025

It took about 4 hours to mail out the first 30 zines, if you need an idea of how awful it is to mail shit in Japan. XD But it’s getting done! (I’m carting 10 at a time back and forth from my house to the post office. They’re HEAVY!) I also underestimated the postage. 😅

Only thing left is waiting on the last ~100 dog tags arriving and then the books themselves!

Stacks of boxes plus trading cards and the wrapped dog tags!

1191

Careful Ren Zine @carefulren.bsky.social · 14/11/2025

Trading cards all packed! Now I’m going to wrap all of the dog tags in an extra layer of origami paper so they don’t scratch the books. (Please don’t judge my awful wrapping skills. 😂)

Origami paper, stickers and dog tags in little baggies, also a row of completed trading card sets.

Careful Ren Zine @carefulren.bsky.social · 13/11/2025

Today it’s sorting and bagging trading card sets all day. 🎉

A set of trading cards in a polybag and a shitton of empty bags and cards that still haven’t been sorted into sets.

Careful Ren Zine @carefulren.bsky.social · 12/11/2025

The merch is all here (except for the extra Hux dog tags)! All the trading cards have been cut, and the “point cards” and bookmarks have all been hand trimmed. That was A LOT but it’s all done now! Tomorrow I will be packing the trading cards into baggies and starting to box things up for mailing!

The PILE of merch and boxes for the zine!

A stack of finished bookmarks and point cards.
