I suspect he did a vague outline for TWW and maybe some of Midnight and he's mostly worked on TLT (in regards to retail) and whatever comes after, being more of an "idea guy" rather than an actual writer. But we'll wait and see I suppose. I definitely feel like Midnight has had minimal involvement.

I know they want to appeal to RP folks with Forever in some capacity because there's a realm for it. But they still wanna have strict transmog restrictions, and imo that will just push folks to prefer retail for RP, where they have all their 20 years worth of transmogs and toys, less restrictions.

If there's one thing I want its that the community doesn't squash Blizzard’s motivation to experiment in WoW Forever. Especially if you also care about Retail, which this will definitely have an impact on as well. Hell, maybe they'll experiment with starting to enforce better in-game behavior too. 👀

Aye. I've a feeling it's going to be remembered as the awkward middle child. TWW was messy but each patch alone was awesome, and I suspect most dev focus has been on The Last Titan at the total expense of Midnight. ( for the record Midnight has had some solid things, M+ and transmog changes etc)

Aye, it's a complete mess. I think we all thought that when they first showed this promo art for TWW, that our main cast for the whole trilogy was Anduin, Alleria and Thrall. And it's actually just been Alleria, Anduin had some real cool moments in Azj-Kahet, but then where Thrall at all??

Yeah it seemed like they wanted to show "yeah, world soul saga is gonna change everything! People will die!" Then no one died and 1 and a half expansions later the only characters to die are Gallywix and Zul'jan and the whole thing has been a nothing burger.

Yeah, its a mix of things I think. Primarily, lot of folks are disappointed with Midnight's story, and if you were looking forward to WoW Forever...Well now you're just disappointed in Blizzard's inaction towards Asmongold. Stuff will pickup once WoWF launches and we get more info on retail stuf

With how in touch with feedback the WoWF devs seem so far, it's absolutely a decision from the people up top, I'd say probably even above Holly and Ion. (Like it or not, Asmon has convinced a huge number of people to buy beta access)

Yes Asmongold is attacking people, it isn't "just his viewers". Fuck right off. I have literally been directly put in the spotlight on his stream and in his highlight videos before. He took his attention to personally attack me and sent his fanbase to attack me.

I was discussing the addons that mute (including yours) I am also (genuinely)going to assume in good faith that you missed the part where I say mute should be integrated into the client as a feature. in a perfect world blizzard expands the ignore list and allows for some proactive steps people can block people who use certain words or are in certain guilds proactively.

Asmon isnt attacking people. I know from talking to you on a few platforms now you super disagree with that but its true, people sending death threats to the devs deserve to be banned full stop thats not okay but Asmon didnt do that. He has his community of 50k+ who have views you obviously disagree with thats fine but ultimately Azeroth is for everyone so the more tools that can prevent people who cant interact peacefully from interacting the better!

@Keyboardturner: I have literally been attacked by Asmon personally before. He literally did so on his stream before and made highlight videos that included me in them. Please just stop.
