I was the narrative designer for an unreleased version of the Golden Axe sequel and had written out a very grimdark sword and sorcery world. So it's weird watching this goofy satire cartoon version of the world. But that version never got released and the studio went another way, so only I remember.

As someone who really likes the concept of solarpunk, I think that we all need to move beyond that one yogurt advertisement. It's doing way too much heavy lifting whenever anyone mentions the genre, and it's kinda cringe.

It’s always interesting how far hotels are behind the time in terms of what people use in their routine. I don’t need an alarm clock, and even if it has USB plugs, my phone needs USBC. So everything that was set up gets unplugged so I can use my devices.
