Initially it was a nightmare in the motel room: I planned it pretty well not letting them out until food, water, litter box, and Feliway was sprayed but they still went nutty. Ended up dosing them with cat gabapentin to keep them from killing each other. They ate though and one hit the litter box

Ended up with a late start on the road because my ex's movers showed up late today instead of yesterday and I wanted to give her time with the cats. Ended up changing reservations to crash in Baton Rouge rather than Mobile because the cats were already fed up with 5 hours on the road

Honestly moving the cats has me more stressed than anything else at this point so the plans changed two weeks ago to do it in stages where we're not in the truck super long but it takes more days to get there. Staying in a motel 6 first day, ex's mom's house second day, get there third day.

But I got through it. Last psych visit before move, individual therapy on Saturday. Still no word on STD claim approval but I've gotten so much help from GFM. Staging the drive in three days: Houston to Mobile, Mobile to Montgomery, Gump to Huntsville. Then a week until move in.

It was a tough day today. Two hours of taking down art and fixtures and spackling. The house is being shown for sale and I got a notice at 12pm it was being shown from 12-1 and they showed up late. Argued with PMC and landlords. Set up all the things I need for move in. Group therapy.

Lease is finally signed. Only took 7 tries: the complex has a new system and it kept generating a lease saying no approved animals when they approved my cats. Had to provide vaccine records to them and then pay another company to also have them for reasons I guess.

Somehow took two hours to take down almost every wall art/hanging/fixture and spackle but it's done. Only thing left up is stuff with pushpins and things with utility like the thing that holds our keys. Part of it was some stuff managed to crack the wall after two years & part of it was catproofing
