Haven't drawn digitally in FOREVER!!! I'm still new to csp so it's taking me a long time to get anything done. But, I'm having a lot of fun just messing around with the symmetry ruler. #art #artarchive #sketch #digital #csp

Trying to start including art in my journal. I tried out some colored pencils. I don't use them a lot and I think it shows, but I'm still pretty happy with my big blue Bruce. #art #artarchive #coloredpencil

I hope we're just in some sort of transitional period in fandom/media consumption and this doesn't last, but I really need people to realize that bullying creators for not catering specifically to what they want or expect out of their creations is not, in fact, a good or normal or cool thing to do.

Consistency does not exist here, and my white gel pen did a lot of the heavy lifting at the end, but I still like it. This is the last sentence of my Grandfather's credo. He died several years before I was born, but his surviving words let me feel connected to him.💜 #art #artarchive #lettering

I finished the first one. I am absolutely in love with it! 🥰 I, lowkey, wasn't sure about it just yesterday, but a little more detail and some blue shading really turned it around. If you noticed the lighting is different in one picture, no, you didn't. #art #artarchive #alcoholink

This is the only Harry Potter argument worth making It wouldn't matter if Harry Potter was a singular, unmatched work of genius. Giving Rowling money is actively making the world a worse place and killing trans folks. There's no book good enough or nostalgic enough for that to be worth it.

Slowly making progress with these as I go. I use the leftover ink that comes out when I clean the brushes to make these, so the overlapping and colors get a little wonky. I like them a lot though. #art #artarchive

More nonsense. The sticker one is the only one that's actually been sealed yet and the high gloss coating I used definitely smudged it. I just sprayed the other ones with a semi-gloss coating, but it looks like it's going to do the same thing 😮‍💨 we'll try more tomorrow. #art #artarchive

I really can't put this more clearly. If you watch the new Harry Potter series, you are directly funding the genocide of trans people, because that's what Rowling gleefully spends HP revenue on. There's no "death of the author" here, no "there's lots of awful creators." You are funding genocide.

I've been cleaning the alcohol ink from our brushes with hand sanitizer, instead of regular alcohol as I usually would. I didn't want all that cleaned out ink to go to waste so I started doing some little abstracts playing with the ideas. It's been fun playing with making different textures

At my job, I get to teach different art materials and skills to my participants. This week we did alcohol ink on ceramic dishes. This was the clear favorite of what I made, both for me and my participants. But I'll put some of the others below. #alcoholink #art #artarchive

I finished my first melted frame project! Mostly finished anyway. We don't look at the back. I'm pretty happy with it. There are definitely a lot of issues and I learned a lot in the process. I still have a few more of these made up, so I'll try again soon.

I've been making little frames with melted plastic. They're super fun, but trimming the edges has proven dangerous. I got two pretty significant cuts from it.

@bsky.app I have seen numerous, valid, complaints about KWS, but you're still forcing it. I'm 29. I've lived in Ohio for 8 years. I have NEVER had to verify anything to this extent. I can watch literal porn, on various sites, w/o this, but I can't look at a drawing here? You should reevaluate.

One of my participants left a palette with blue, green, and magenta. I didn't want it to go to waste so I tried a value study using a screenshot from DPR ARTIC's Mirror Ball mv. I went w/o a sketch and I think it shows🤣 plus I ran out of paint. I dont like it but it was a fun exercise #art #painting

Finally got scrap paint in colors I could use on this. I got it all painted and went to add in the column... and it's too tall. I forgot to remeasure when I added all the accents and they made it too big. But I went straight to glue it in like a dumb ass 😭 I'm gonna have to trim the edge and repaint

In less angry news, I made a little manta ray alien thing💖 I had some scraps from a Stitch shaped card I made for one of my coworkers. I don't know how I'm going to use it yet, probably a colage or something. #art

A manta ray type creature made of bluish-purple paper with pink and white paint creating patterning on its back, tail, and head.

The same picture but with a little doodle on the right side to show how the scrap paper came from a Stitch shape. The doodle is of the top half of Stitch's head. The paper's shape follows the fur tuft in the middle of his head into the inside curve of his right ear.
