the twitter search result is so useless it physically hurts me. exhibit of me entering bakudeku into the search bar only for it to return random results about daytrading with ZERO string match 🫠what the hell is the point anymore..

Camry @camry1918.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

I've seen full comic page comms go for like $200+ .. 40 is like the range for a bust or torso-up depending on level of render and experience. that is wild. i wonder if the deflated expectations come from outdated commission prices that have been preserved on the internet for years

It's the comments that I can look back on that makes me feel like I am/was part of the community TTTTT For pictsquare, the participation fee as a circle is defaulted to a 550yen service fee.. the barrier to entry for web onlies is so low..!! I encourage everyone to give it a try sometime.

010

Camry @camry1918.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

My favorite thing about these web only events is that there's a message board system where you can leave comments (not anonymously) to the circles, and you know how Japanese twitter never @s you...well their shyness goes away in this setting and they leave LONG ASS comments full of love 😭

130

Camry @camry1918.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

I participated as a circle in my first pictsquare WEB only in a hot minute (last one I did was 2024) and I had so much fun TTTTT it was a much more low-key event compared to the humongous heroaca ones with 300+ circles, but it gave me more time to REALLY look around and write comments to people <3

DID THE ALT TXT NOT SAVE OR SOMETHING ... i can't see it on my end

100

Camry @camry1918.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

okay I "inked" it too lazy to translate it but I provided an english synopsis in the alt txt #chiikawa #hachiware

Hachiware's body starts glowing out of nowhere while he's out hunting with Chiikawa. He turns into his large parallel world form.

Chiikawa cowers behind a tree and tightly grips its weapon. Hachiware apologizes for scaring it, then imagines getting hunted. Chiikawa shakes its head and runs in front of Hachiware, vowing to protect him.

Hachiware asks if Chiikawa is still willing to be his friend. Chiikawa throws its butt up, mimicking Usagi. Hachiware laughs delightedly and compliments Chiikawa's imitation. It turns out it's all a dream. Real Hachiware cries in his sleep.

Korean and Italian in the same family sounds like such a blessing omg... It's conceptually similar to rosé ddukbokki if you've ever seen that..!! except I added way more garlic and way more cheese. mmMmM

September 23 is the birthday of Geoffrey, Duke of Brittany (by marriage to Constance of Brittany.) Fourth son of Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine, an avid tournamenteer, he forged more friendly connections with the Bretons than his father and was appreciated by Philip Augustus and Bertran de Born

i love how fluffy hachiware is a tad bit bigger than parallel chiikawa and usagi

000

Camry @camry1918.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

another clue is that when Hachiware is trying to catch the bee, the two are having fun and not empathizing with his desperation: the vibes are off... they aren't his friends in the parallelverse because he is an acquaintance that they just met

000

Camry @camry1918.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Hachiware not being ranked in the parallel world despite chiikawa and usagi and rakko being rankers and Hachiware morphing into his parallel form tells me he was a creature to begin with and lived separately from chiiusa

Camry @camry1918.bsky.social · 22/09/2026
