This semester is finally over! To celebrate, I got myself this chonky boi and went to a botanical garden yesterday (did two rolls of film, results of which will come later!) As annoying as stop-down metering was, that’s just an issue of lens choice. Still, this might be my new favorite 35mm camera!

first attempt at a moon shot, this was done using the canon 75-300mm. cropped and very slightly color corrected but otherwise untouched really happy with this for a first result tbh :)

That’s the reason I would go for it, though. Yeah you lose out on weather sealing, but gain T-mode and matrix metering on manual lenses, and there’s just something special about all physical knob and button controls…I dunno, it’s hard to resist. Do you use li-ion batteries in yours, or still Alk?
