I'm considering automating that one EGA Doom sprite project I've got going on... NOT using genAI. I'm gonna try using a custom Python script to automatically color the areas I specify using some palette ranges. If it doesn't look good, I'll edit the results. If it's unsalvagable, I'll abandon it.

Had a dream earlier that they added an extra HUD-based gimmick to every Melee character. Mario got a rear-view mirror. Kirby got a pinball display that gave points for random actions. All the Pokemon got Tamagotchis. Etc. As you can expect, it was very chaotic. See my artist's rendition below

Culture has become regurgitative at this point. Not just in terms of franchises constantly crossing over, I think it's also seeping into other facets like food as well. Reese's combined with Oreos. Burgers with Mac n Cheese on top. Heck, even dishes made from only their most iconic ingredient

Sucks that Borderlands 3 has weird lighting issues on Switch 2. Especially given that the unlimited framerate option actually makes a huge difference on it. Was really looking forward to a replay of it

I feel like I've had multiple phases like that throughout my life. Every time I get tired of gaming I find a new game or genre that draws me back in. The initial spark was Katamari Damacy, then past high school it was Doom 2. It might also be happening again with Slay the Spire 2.
