Going to happen more often as temperatures rise. Bottom line: do not swim in warm, stagnant waters (ponds, small lakes) when subjected to lengthy hot temperatures. Honestly, once mid-July rolls around, I'd look for a plain-old swimming pool. Fatality rate of this amoeba infection is effectively 100%
