this is extremely stupid for so many reasons, one being that ASI is an established future metric of AI. You don’t just rename something to “gold” and claim you won. AI = what we already have AGI = artificial *general* intelligence, the current race ASI = hypothetical ai that supersedes humanity

Some people might not be aware, but it is entirely possible that without Dolly Parton we wouldn’t have had a COVID vaccine. She partly funded Moderna’s research and gave the largest individual contribution to make it all happen. Just gives you an idea of the kind of person she was.

Update: the diversity event costs as extra were apparently unintended, and co-speaker passes do have networking/diversity events included! The initial flow offered full access for $275 or networking/diversity events for $35 per event; it appears this was an error and is being updated.
