As someone who grew up in Georgia, Texas, and Minnesota, the existence of United Airlines feels like a polite fiction. I mean, I totally get it. I wish there was a third legacy carrier, too. But we've got to play the hand we're dealt.

Finally had a chance to use #jj-vcs to address a complex problem, and I'm never going back to plain git. Absolutely unreal how easy it made things. It is indeed simpler, safer, and yet more powerful than Git alone.

Dealing with a customer issue that, as far as I can tell, is ultimately caused by AWS CloudFront implementing HTTP incorrectly. Amazon support keeps quoting an RFC section at me, but that section agrees with my interpretation? (And my understanding is shared by RedHat and NGINX...) 🤦‍♂️

Who needs arts, entertainment, or hobbies when you have #NixOS? I've had my Framework 16 for 10 months. I still haven't "finished" installing Linux on it. This month's time sink: Using LUKS2 to configure a TCG Opal Self-Encrypting Drive and have it auto-unlock via TPM2 (protected by SecureBoot.)
