No Use for a Name's Hard Rock Bottom is maybe the greatest album of all time. Each song is a 10/10. Insane riffs, intense drumming, the best melodies of any punk rock band hands down, and a Sinead O'Connor cover featuring Karina Denike from Dance Hall Crashers!? Its almost not fair.

Finally finished my Sega Astro City custom GBA! Swapped the lime green buttons I've used for the last few years for neon green closer to the Astro City cab buttons and put in a v5 IPS screen and did the soldering for the on screen display. There's a little light bleed at the top but I'll live, lol

This does bleed into videogames a little, but I think it only really effects niche, collector level stuff. People will say they love Bakumatsu no Roman instead of The Last Blade because they paid $500 for a Bakumatsu no Roman AES cart so that's what it is to them.

I keep seeing the "it doesn't include the game" framing, but back in the day we called this merch. Its expensive, sure but its still merch. I have a Batman leather jacket that was made to promote Arkham Knight and I didn't expect it to come with the game because I know what merch is.

Finished Metroid Fusion last night. It is great, but playing it immediately after Zero Mission did it no favors. Zero Mission is basically perfect and Fusion definitely has a lot of issues. Still like an 8.5 out of 10 though.

I found New Found Glory at a very formative time of my life. To say Chad's songwriting influenced mine would be an understatement. NFG was one of the first shows I ever went to (with Finch and Something Corporate). I watched a behind the scenes DVD of them like 100 times.

I've watched the first 8 episodes of the Golden Axe series and as the world's biggest Golden Axe fan who expected not to like it... its good. The humor absolutely works. I will still always want a more serious adaptation but I'm really enjoying this.

Early TNA Jeff Jarrett was an amazing villain protagonist in the vein of Walter White or Light Yagami from Death Note. You knew he had to fail eventually. You even wanted him to! But it was so compelling to see how he just kept succeeding anyway.
