A man replied to this saying in earnest that women need to get organized and fight for our rights and men will follow. We did that. We do that. We mobilized the largest single day protest in global history on every continent and yet I have fewer rights than my mom did at my age.

I literally don’t know a single woman who hasn’t been raped, stalked, groped, harassed, or sexually violated in some way at some point in their life. If you choose to doubt and dox survivors, just know every woman in your life is disgusted by you.

On the *same day* the Cornell Seven drugged and raped Jane Doe, Cornell banned four students (including the President of Cornell JVP) from campus for three years for nonviolent, pro-Palestine protests. The same Cornell officials let the rapists off with apology essays.

It’s been said, but it’s worth pointing out again that the Title IX process ENABLES colleges to AVOID law enforcement. It is a non-gov system for a reason. The failure of Cornell to report is NOT a failure; it is normal university procedure. Be outraged that this is proper procedure!

What gets me, apart from these people being absolute monsters, is that the whole thing is predicated on the belief that testing is education. Like at least 3/4 of their project falls apart if we get rid of high stakes testing.

Protesting violence at Cornell gets you arrested. Gang rape gets you an essay.
The district attorney is reopening a horrific campus rape case only after massive public outcry; otherwise, five of the seven men would’ve gotten off with a writing assignment.
