Neil Reid @cairngormwanderer.bsky.social · 11/10/2026W wildlife treat while sitting in my own back garden in Fife. Spotted an amazing Hummingbird Hawk Moth, hovering round the verbena just like a hummingbird, and feeding on nectar via its long proboscis. Photos are rubbish: wings just a blur and poor focus, but I was thrilled just to see it. 070

Neil Reid @cairngormwanderer.bsky.social · 23/08/2026Finland had huge success in ending homelessness, but now that's going backward. Why? The answer is simple: a right wing government. The poor and middle getting poorer. Don't listen to Faragist lies: the truth has been demonstrated. 030
Neil Reid @cairngormwanderer.bsky.social · 23/08/2026What makes a data centre green? Nothing. By its nature it requires massive amounts of power - no matter where it's sourced from - and emits massive amounts of heat no matter how the cooling is done. And we don't even need it. In fact its use is almost wholly pernicious. 020

Neil Reid @cairngormwanderer.bsky.social · 12/08/2026Am I right in thinking this petition is aimed at the landowner, asking him to stop his behaviour? It's never worked before, so why should it work now. There needs to be a concerted effort to get a prosecution here, in the face of long-term and repeated flouting of the law. 160
Neil Reid @cairngormwanderer.bsky.social · 12/08/2026If I understand correctly this petition is TO the offender asking HIM to amend his behaviour. A niaive waste of time considering how long he has been flouting the law of the land. Time to prosecute, not plead. 120
