Folks just shouldn't need to register/pay/ask permission from Google to build and distribute their own APKs outside the Play Store. Hurts open source and hobby projects. Imagine making cross-platform games for Windows distributed through Steam, but MS requires you to first register with them? nah

Honestly, AI slop PRs are becoming increasingly draining and demoralizing for #Godot maintainers. If you want to help, more funding so we can pay more maintainers to deal with the slop (on top of everything we do already) is the only viable solution I can think of: fund.godotengine.org

Almost every time I'm unpatching/repatching my synth while listening to it... I think of the scene in 2001 A Space Odyssey where HAL 9000 is singing "Daisy" as Dave slowly pulls his memory chips out 😅😭

Eurorack modular synthesizer viewed up close at an angle, huge mess of patch cable / wires in lots of diff colors all over the place connecting things together. My poor snake plant in the background that desperately needs to be repotted.

Oy, that it's so easy to build out menus in #Godot - it's been fun to make tools and debug menus for MewnBase to help with testing and for easily reviewing data resources in one place. Always wanted an item menu kinda like this for creative mode etc - way nicer than typing in console commands.

a crude "Item Manager" tool screenshot - a data table with a row for each item type in MewnBase. Shows their icon, internal id, localized/translated displayed name - and can view what ingredients are needed for each crafting recipe.

Made a little MewnBase SpaceCat standee / mini last night - also wanna design a habitat module for them to live in at some point 😸

A small flat version of SpaceCat from MewnBase (cartoon cat wearing a space suit) etched and cut out from plywood sheets and glued together into something like a board-game standee / miniature. In the photo it's placed on top of 3rd party SNES controller's face buttons.
