Are there tests for dyscalculia? Do kids get tested for dyslexia? I didn't know dyscalculia was a thing until I was an adult. I was in 9th grade when a teacher noticed that I regularly copied numbers incorrectly (usually swapping digits). I feel like this kind of thing should be found before then!

Last night my kid asked about the text at the bottom of the email from a teacher that stated all the emails were property of the school district and subject to public records requests. We had a WHOLE conversation about what that means, what public records requests are, why they happen, etc.
