as i kind of expected, Neptune's being a bouncy pouncy bastard so i'm going to set up a temporary recovery room for nessy so she doesn't have to deal with him while she's still wobbly She had a Churu & some wet food as soon as she got home tho!

we're back. Nessy had a very good dental day, only had 1 extraction, plus had her ear tattoo renewed (it was almost too faded to read when i first got her) fishing was very slow on "While-U-Wait Lake" but i went 2 for 3, & honestly what better way to spend the hours waiting. Very scenic day

LOL! i've posted a lot about how much i love the game "Dredge" & how, despite how stylized & simplified it is, it remarkably replicates a lot of how commercial fishing *feels*. (especially what exhaustion does to you, lol) the one thing they left out was going on a bender after you hit town 😹

it's such a great sleeping bag. it warms up *so* quickly, which i think is why Nessy loves burrowing in it so much. I'd been sleeping under only a sheet for most of the summer & grabbed that sleeping bag when the nights started cooling off but it wasn't "duvet weather" yet. It's duvet weather now
