Ross Burton @burtonini.com · 28/09/2026I listen to podcasts most days when walking the dog or cleaning the kitchen but anything over 30 minutes gets a hard glare unless I trust the people making it to not waffle on. Once fast forwarded past over FIFTEEN minutes of inane drivel before giving up on a series I really wanted to be good. 010

Its extent is defined by Edward II getting his arse handed to him. Athelstan conquering York. The Welsh of Cumbria were incorporated, the Welsh of Gwynedd were not. It is a political idea, an aspiration - not taxonomy. 761731492

Ross Burton @burtonini.com · 14/09/2026Time to weight up the annoyance of cloudflare vs paying for static I guess! 110
Ross Burton @burtonini.com · 14/09/2026in theory you can point birbs. at your home IP (assuming static) and then use port forwarding on the router to send anyone hitting port 80 to your rpi. Easy, but the advantage of eg cloudflare tunnels is that they avoid you exposing your poor little rpi directly to the internet. 100
Ross Burton @burtonini.com · 14/09/2026does that work if you don't use Cloudflare for DNS? I wanted to setup a tunnel to get to my HAOS but they wanted to control my DNS too. 110
