Read recently there’s no appetite in the Premier League to expel City but as the true impact of cheating unravels, I expect an overwhelming appetite from other supporters to expel them to the lowest possible level. I don’t think the authorities realise that yet because it’s an international break.

The only solution that will satisfy other clubs is for City to be stripped of all trophies won in the period of cheating AND up to most recent season given that their cheating obviously benefits them in subsequent seasons. Then relegation to lowest tier and compensation to all clubs.

If you cheat to win, then you didn’t win at all. It’s as simple as that and it doesn’t really matter what fines or punishment are levied against Man City now because forevermore, all the trophies they “won” during that period are tainted. If they had any dignity they would hand them all back.
