New Art! A surprise commission by my fellow @pawsome.bsky.social staff to say thanks for taking on Members and Reg this year. Not sure why I get singled out, everyone has worked hard and done a great job in their respective roles, but I’m very appreciative all the same ☺️
A canvas print of a burned-out Buntline slumped over his computer, with a blurred but recognisable image of the Pawsome membership website visible on the screen.

Yes.
A plate of beef tartare (and homemade chips, and salad) I enjoyed at a small bistro in Paris last year.

If you see this, post your getaway vehicle.

The small boy in the bottom right corner of the original image, with an improbable number of mutilated fingers.
Probably put in by hand for the lols.

Would a normal waffle do? With a chorizo slice on top of the burger and chocolate sauce over it all? 😁
The chocolate and chorizo burger, between waffles instead of a bun, that my friend accidentally ordered when he didn’t read the menu properly. As well as the chocolate syrup on top it has melted cheese dripping out the side, and a bit of lettuce and grated carrot with it on the plate.

I did know, because I have an embroidery inspired by the BT in my very own living room 😁
A picture of Jim'll Paint It's "Bayeux Chucking Out Time" embroidery, about five feet wide and laid out on my living room floor. It depicts drunk people falling out of taxis, traffic cones on heads, various streams of vomit, tits, fighting, a kebab shop, and a stand-up shag behind a Biffa bin.

I’m not sure about taxi style boats (as others have said, there very much used to be historically). The Clippers that @dreadships.bsky.social was on are more like buses or trains, plying a fixed route with a couple of hundred passengers and an on board bar.
A Thames Clipper in a photogenic spot on the river, in front of HMS Belfast and Tower BridgePassenger seating inside the boat. Basically like aeroplane seats except the space is much wider and there are huge windows all round. The bar in the middle of the passenger deck.

Painting… bodies?

It sounded bloody tough, physically, but that was kind of the point. This is what my friend wrote about it shortly afterwards:
Screenshot of a Telegram post:

“Now, here's my logic. You can take your partner on a Greek holiday, serenade them with music and feed them olives and at the perfect moment, pop the question. You're probably getting a yes.

However, if you drag your partner all the way to Africa, and you sleep in a hole in a rubbish dump, and you're hungry and sleep deprived, and then you find yourself trying to fall asleep together on a pile of toxic dust on an iron ore train in the Sahara desert, and you wake up in the morning and they're still there with you, then you marry that person.

Forget Greece. Forget the romantic dinner. Sahara Desert. 40°C. Toxic dust. Hungry and tired. That's the time to ask the question. Even if all you've got to hand is the ring pull from an old tuna can, you ask that question, and it, even after all that, they still say yes, then you know they bloody well mean it.”

Buntline @buntline.dog · 05/07/2026
For me it doesn’t beat my friend who proposed using a rusty ring-pull, at sunrise on top of a pile of iron ore in a railway hopper truck rolling across the Sahara.
Close up of a very dirty hand, with a rusty ring-pull from an old can squeezed onto the ring finger in place of a diamond engagement ring. We can just make out a scrap of desert sky in the background, and that the hand’s owner is in a grubby orange sleeping bag.

We had gunge in con space at Pawsome last year - but that *was* an official timetabled event and held in a tent outside 😁 (I don’t think it’s explicitly banned otherwise, but obviously the con would take a dim view of anything that might damage other attendees’ costumes or the hotel.)

A fox with a gay accordion always improves things.
Keys the famous accordion-playing fox, sitting on the steps at LondonFurs. The bellows of his accordion is rainbow-coloured like a Pride flag.

These were my “undies” for the one a couple of weeks ago 😁
Catalogue shot of a pair of briefs in what looks at first glance like a black and red floral paisley pattern.

On closer inspection, some of the paisley swirls are actually disembodied cocks-and-balls.

I am that sailor doggo ☺️. If you ever make it to the UK I’d be honoured to teach you some basics.
A close-up view of the mast of a yacht under sail, focusing on a flag flying from the starboard spreader. The flag is hand-sewn, and shows a yellow paw-print, representing furries, on a dark blue background.

Six pre-packed chocolate-spread pancakes do not constitute a balanced breakfast, despite Sainsbury’s sending them in place of the croissants I ordered.

My lavish breakfasts don’t leave much room for lunch. Does mean I’m fairly peckish by the evening and ready for a lavish dinner, though.
A good home-cooked Full English. Sausage, bacon, eggs, black pudding, mushrooms, hash browns, baked beans, and two thick slices of buttered toast. Coffee in a large mug with a picture of Buntline on the side of it, and a pint of orange juice.

These are they (catalogue shot, I _wish_ my body looked like that). I guess they could just drape over the bar of a hanger, though they’d probably fall off whenever I moved anything else around.
A catalogue model wearing a pair of very short and tight latex shorts, black with blue highlights and a puppy-paw logo on one thigh.

To be sure you’re in the running for a room, this is what you need to see at the top of your Registration page. You and one or two roommates need to have entered each others’ PawIDs to confirm that you want to share with each other.

This reminds me of the horse I met who seemed very interested in trying bacon.
A pan of bacon frying in the human section of a horsebox truck. There’s an open window above the stove, through which we can see Vicky the horse outside. She’s come round to the end of her tether to see in through the window and seems to be eyeing the bacon.

Ehh; they’re an American import, yes, but in my view a decent one. An improvement in flavour and texture on the fried bread my mum would do in their place when I was a kid. I was happy to include hash browns in this breakfast I cooked at the weekend.

A lot of it’s covered here. Without the lion butt, of course.

The correct response. *My* sister in law, on the other hand, commissioned a lovely picture for me from a real artist:
A large framed print next to the discarded wrapping paper on the Christmas living room floor. It shows a vaguely American-looking train trundling through a scenic landscape of pine trees and distant mountains. Buntline, my anthropomorphic terrier character, is leaning out of a window in his trademark checked shirt and woolly hat, dreamily watching the scenery roll past.

Hahahahaha! Nope.
An automated email telling me that my ESTA visa waiver for the US expires soon, advising me to reapply “if travel to the United States is intended in the near future”. Naturally, I do not intend to travel to the US any time soon.

The email also includes a poster-style image whose tagline is the hilarious lie that “Traveling to the US has never been easier.”

I can recommend three: Nordic Fuzz Con: reputed to be the best in Europe, but now sold out for 2026. Confuzzled: kind of the UK equivalent of Anthrocon. Pawsome: small (~300 person) con I’m on staff at. We fill a country house hotel near Gloucester and I’d love to see you there next October 🙂

I have a friend who wears one of those.
My friend in a full-body silicone cow outfit, plus a black PVC trenchcoat, boots, a chunky neck chain with a cowbell, and BDSM wrist cuffs. In the street on a night out in London. There’s a yellow cattle tag in their silicone cow ear, but that’s really not the most noticeable part of this image.

I’m working on a community project at the moment that’s written in Python. Just made a donation to help fill this hole. Maybe if enough people around the world do the same, we can even exceed the original US Government blackmail grant?

BOINGGGG!
The inner core and belt mounting plate of a Jay’s Boingy Tail. Without the fur cover, it’s a somewhat industrial-looking silicone and aluminium thing, with six bolts holding it together and “Jay’s Boingy Tails” moulded in raised letters along the side.

A framed Ozy and Millie print, suggesting that “youthful revolutionaries” just want people to pay attention to them.
