This really sweet guy on Xiaohongshu saw a post I made about anxiety and mentioned that he also has anxiety. He asked if I wanted any advice, and I said sure, and he told me that getting Chinese massages, fishing, playing billiards, and taking walks have really helped him lol.

I've been learning Japanese with Duolingo, and I briefly tried to add Chinese as well since I joined Xiaohonshu, but it got a bit confusing since so many of the characters look the same and learning Japanese has been difficult enough with it being such a new language format compared to English.

This was my favorite piece I’ve ever gotten to sing with Columbus Gay Men’s Chorus. I cried every time. Performing it at GALA Festival in the summer and then hearing how many choruses are wanting to perform it themselves now was so cool. I hope my trans pals hear this and feel strengthened by it. 🏳️‍⚧️

Most stars appear blue, and are sometimes as large as more distant galaxies that appear next to them. A very bright star is just above and left of center. It has eight bright blue, long diffraction spikes. Between 4 o’clock and 6 o’clock in its spikes are several very bright galaxies. A group of three are in the middle, and two are closer to 4 o’clock. These galaxies are part of the galaxy cluster SMACS 0723, and they are warping the appearances of galaxies seen around them. Long orange arcs appear at left and right toward the center.$ A massive cloud of gas and dust is seen in dark, dusty red, with its outer portions a translucent, ethereal gray. Several stars and distant galaxies are scattered throughout the image.

A circular-shaped nebula with a complex structure. On the circle’s exterior, particularly on the left side of the image, are curtains of material glowing orange like fire. The star cluster Pismis 24 lies within the much larger emission nebula called NGC 6357, located about 8,000 light-years from Earth. The cluster is seen here above a small portion of the nebula. The strong radiation and stellar winds from from these blazing, blue-white stars also pushes the nebular material outward, creating one of many low-density bubbles within NGC 6357.

A very common sea chub in the Eastern Pacific! If you've ever been tidepooling in California, you've probably seen them. I went with an olive coloration as this is the common adult coloration, though some are more gray. But younger fish range from silvery to blue-gray.
They can have 1 or 2 pairs of spots, I personally usually just see 1 pair in my neck of the woods.
But some populations can have more than 2 even.

Solidarity is life, but I can't keep others safe when in eminent danger of dying due to actual planned disruptions to disability supports that keep me alive. The threat's not coming; it's here. We need *others* helping *us* plan for our safety in solidarity. I'm not seeing nearly enough of that.
