All the postural advice I got growing up was useless. It wasn’t wrong, it was just useless to me, who had serious untreated musculoskeletal injuries and couldn’t sit or move properly if I tried.

I’ve really reinforced the ball-rolling because he loves seeing people clap, but he hasn’t figured out how to do it himself. Every time he rolls the ball to me or grabs it back I clap, so he just never gets tired of it.

This is actually pretty cool. I know a handful of cats who were saved via this black market treatment, and several vets who assisted in the more intensive parts of it. Wild that FIP used to just destroy cats with no cure, and now we have survivors for the first time in history.

I live in Missoula but I’m from the East Side of the state originally, and yeah, the rancher types here will straight up shoot a dangerous dog and ask questions later. They don’t have patience for injury, lost livestock or risk of rabies.

They’re fixing to get a harsh lesson in another aspect of Montana culture, judging by the Nextdoor post I saw yesterday about a girl on a bike getting chased by two aggressive dogs, and locals were urging future witnesses to this kind of thing to shoot the dogs.

Like, you already almost can’t use the dog parks here if your dog is under 50lbs, since under that they’re just a novel squeaky toy for anything bigger. I actually do like dogs, but I can’t believe how lackadaisical people are about training their large carnivorous animals.
