Let this sink in. Cornell University refused to refund Jane Doe's tuition the semester she was raped. Without this money, she could not transfer to another school. Essentially, she was forced to stay on campus where she saw those seven rapists frequently. Eventually she dropped out of college.

Canadians elected the Liberals with Carney as leader with consideration to the entirely of his CV. Progressives no doubt banked on the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy on Climate Action role (no pun intended). And now he's decided to govern like he's Harper (with personality). Womp womp.

I've been rabbiting on about this. Too often Mark Carney doesn't treat Canadians as a target audience in his comms. It'd be great if he'd sit down with a Cdn newspaper for the type of interview he just granted the NYT. We deserved to be told about prep for a potential US military action. #CdnPoli
A tweet from March 2026

@christyceeck.bsky.social
This is not how comms should work. Canadians are a target audience -- one could argue the most important audience. If the PM does value Cdns as an audience, then his avoidance of journos, now & in general, could come down to thinking Canadians won't like what he has to say if he says it in detail.
