In March, Washington State passed a tax on millionaires to fund public education, childcare, and expand its earned income tax credit. Now, special interest groups backed by the rich are trying to trick voters into repealing the tax by claiming it will apply to non-millionaires. Don't fall for it.

Great fun watching Buster Keaton's silent film masterpiece The General at Lucas Arts Theater in Savannah. The only bad thing was the unfortunate tendency of the audience to cheer for the traitors in gray. The "good guys" in the movie were Confederates, though they didn't show much good character.
