It's not new, but literally every shadow docket hearing, the Supreme Court is reinforcing its illegitimacy. It is not a court. It is not doing the work of a court. In the interest of the rule of law, we need to ultimately abide by its rulings, but there is no future without significant court reform

It is time for this absurdity to end. The election took place in June. The attempts to overturn it have run their course and the legal matters are settled. Every statewide and national elected official who has weighed in has called on the outgoing chair to respect the results.

Just also want to note that trans people and advocates for the unhoused have told people for years that Gavin Newsom is trash. If this is what makes people realize how awful he is, great, but I really hope this is also a wake-up call to listen the first time someone tells you who they really are.
