Mine has this sort of rubbery lip at the door for seal and it catches tons of soap. Having that scooped out and wiped down is good if you have a door like that. I had to run a few empty loads with just super hot water to continuously rinse off any buildup (after running cleaning stuff through)!

This is obviously a scam email but every time I get these I laugh my ass off. You love the colors in my portfolio? (My incredibly out of date portfolio)

A scam email that says "Hi Your artwork is awesome! The creativity, detail, and colors are incredible. Every time I look at it, I see something new to be honest. Is it Available for sale? Thanks!"

Motivation of the day: It's still progress if you don't finish and it's still progress if you don't succeed. Stopping after 3 steps up a stairwell is still making your way there. It's okay to take a break; it's okay to only have a bit in you at a time; it's okay to live at your own pace.

Form the distraction into a tool instead of falling completely into it! Let yourself wander but set a limit to return to your work. It's not an easy thing, and there's no simple "solution" or way to change things up. Re-steer yourself after following an impulse instead of derailing for the impulse

Cook after your day is over. It's exhausting but cooking is literally a fast paced task list. Every step is a small accomplishment and the end goal is a yummy reward. Make it fun with sticker rewards next to each step or whatever floats your boat!

Pick up a short task. Working on something with a long turnaround can be hard so take the opportunity to accomplish something else on the list along the way. I always pair multiple small tasks along with large ones on my timelines so I can use those small assignments in the schedule as escape.

Project planning and documentation almost always pay off. Stuck on your task? Take a half hour to update task lists, jot down anything you have been storing in your brain, update your reference gallery, etc.

Work a step ahead of your current task! As a 3D artist sometimes modeling can get nitty gritty, but you don't need UVs to start texturing (just to finish them!). I'll sometimes work ahead by creating my needed materials as presents that I can apply later. Refreshing new task that still applies!

Take a 10 minute walk. People step away for the bathroom, to get coffee, or smoke all the time. Taking a lap around the office, block, school, or apartment complex can help your brain.

Hey ADHD friends! Remember: it's OKAY to be distracted ‼️ Bullying yourself for not staying on task prolongs your desire for escape and makes you suffer. Distraction is a great tool for mini-rewards so work to utilize it instead.
