I’ve been working very long hours to restock for my next two markets and I’m very tired. Today, I took advantage of an absolutely gorgeous afternoon to sit in the park and play solitaire with my new purse cards. I didn’t win.

Cabbagetown this weekend was amazing. My booth packed down into these 4 totes, the tent bag, and some random nonsense, and it made me just a little sad, even tho I was very tired and needed to go home and not talk to anyone else for a week.

Not to be a buzzkill, because I enjoy some good wordplay more than the average bookworm, but MRSA (and other antibiotic resistant bacteria) is terrifying, 48 kids (small people with vulnerable immune systems) is a massive outbreak and it’s really…not funny. At all.

I did an interview earlier in the week…and I was just sent to a website with a series of dropdown menus with questions to choose from and it left a really bad taste in my mouth. At more than 1/2 through now and having trouble putting it down! I’d say it’s definitely entertaining and worth reading if you enjoy a dungeon crawl even just a little bit. Easy read too, not mentally taxing. Would be a great palate cleanser between heavier reads.

I started reading Dungeon Crawler Carl yesterday. I’m not far enough in to tell you whether or not it lives up to the hype yet, but I will tell you this: it’s an easy read, it’s very entertaining and I’m having trouble putting it down to do life stuff, I’m having a good time.

My final thought as I’ve just read the very last page: this book makes me angry. But not in the way you think. I’m angry in the same way that I get angry when I see the premise of a book and get excited but then I read it and am disappointed and feel like the author fumbled a good idea.

I left some clay water on my porch to settle out so I could reclaim the sludge in the bottom. But then the storm happened and tossed them around. The porch is covered in porcelain clay muck and the raccoons have been having fun with it.

Borrowed the accurséd writing kids books for adults book from the library and started reading it a couple days ago. The wild thing is that the author isn’t necessarily wrong about much, but is either out of touch, or willfully obtuse and has a serious case of foot-in-mouth disease.

I bought low fire earthenware clay ages ago and finally made time to make some planters! I love them so much and they are the perfect size to pop some cute succulents in. The more porous earthenware pulls extra moisture from the soil, making it harder to overwater your succulents and cacti!
