Personally I would have gone with a lunar theme considering the shape of its splash.

While this fountain is officially unnamed, Portlandians refer to it as the Car Wash. I cannot find a reason why it is called this.

I made the unfortunate decision to purchase ReStory, only to discover it has gen-AI in it that isn't disclosed on Steam and when I requested a refund, Steam denied it because members of my Steam Family played it. If developers lie about the content of their game, I should be able to get a refund.

A photograph of graffiti on a white wall. Clearly there were prior graffiti hits on it before due to the fresh coat of paint this piece of was drawn over with some type of pen, probably Sharpie. It shows the words "I WARNED YOU. This means war..." above a large Pac-Man baring teeth with a thick angry eyebrow and a large eyeball, facing towards the ground, like an upside crescent moon.

Here are some of my favorite covers they've scanned.
A scan of the box art of Trace Memory for Nintendo DS. The front shows the main character Ashley Robbins reaching forward with her left hand. She has short white hair and is wearing a short sleeve shirt that is white with a red collar and sleeves. The blurb says "Find the traces of your past on mysterious Blood Edward Island." The back says "Blood Edward Island awaits... Ten years after her parents' presumed deaths, Ashley Robbins receives a package--supposedly sent by her father--that contains a small device. Tracing it to deserted Blood Edward Island, she sets out to discover what really happened all those years ago. Follow Ashley as she explores the island's depths, solves puzzles, searches for clues, and uncovers the truth of her parents' fates. Use the DS's unique features--Touch Screen, dual screens, and microphone--to solve the puzzles of Blood Edward Island."A scan of the box art of Final Fantasy X for PlayStation 2. The front cover features the main character Tidus standing in shallow water off the coast of Besaid Island with the Fayth, rainbow-hued spirits, floating around him. The back cover shows Yuna looking into the camera as she holds her staff out, spinning in her kimono while in the middle of a ceremonial dance in the water off the coast of Kilika Island. The back blurb reads "The world lies on the brink of destruction. Only a select few may be able to save it. Characters with voices. Real-time facial expressions. Complete 3D environments. Newly designed battle system."A scan of the box art of Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town for Game Boy Advance. The front cover shows a cute anime styled illustration of the boy farmer you play as holding a pitchfork and a wooden pail of cute Harvest Sprites who look like faerie gnomes. He's walking across his field beside his floppy-eared puppy with chickens, sheep, and cows in the background. The back blurb reads "IT'S TIME TO GO BACK TO THE FARM! As a child you spent a memorable summer on a farm in the country...and experienced a whole new world of excitement. Years have passed and now the long neglected farm which holds fond memories is yours! It is up to you to successfully rejuvenate the farm and build a life for yourself with family and friends. The front cover shows an anime style illustration of some of the main cast, Lloyd, Colette, Sheena, and Zelos, posing with their weapons on a background of bosses they fight in-game. The back blurb reads "THE EPIC BATTLE FOR SURVIVAL. In a dying world, legend has it that a Chosen One will one day rise from amongst the people and the land will be reborn. The line between good and evil blurs in this epic adventure where the fate of two interlocked worlds hangs in the balance. An Epic Adventure. Clu Clu Land, otherwise known as Kuru Kuru in Japan (the onomatopoeia for something going "around and around"), was too hard for me. I couldn't even beat the first level. The movement of swinging around posts, I couldn't seem to grasp. The longplay I watched made it look so easy though.
A scan of the box art for Clu Clu Land. It shows a pixelated image of the player character, who looks like a red tadpole with shoes and a crane game hand, holding onto a peg, getting ready to swing around and grab a coin. The back blurb reads "The evil Sea Urchin has hidden all the gold in Clu Clu Land in an underground mystery maze. Are you clever enough to find it? Le terrible Oursin a caché un trésor dans le labyrinthe de la ville souterraine de Clu Clu Land. Pouvez-vous le trouver? RECOMMENDED FOR AGES 8 TO ADULT. POUR ENFANTS DE 8 ANS ET PLUS ET ADULTES."

One of the first female protagonists in video game history stars in City Connection (except for the NA release where they replace her with a man) where she drives around the globe in her Honda City hatchback. I really liked this one even though the controls were unclear.
A scan of the box art for City Connection. The front cover shows a hand drawn anime style scene of an orange Honda City hatchback being chased by cops on a city road with palm trees lining the street. One of the cops is leaning out of his vehicle and shooting a gun into the air. The back blurb reads "FREE* WILSON SPORTS POSTER. Pay only $1.25 for postage and handling. Details inside. Drive For Your Life! Your mission: Race your speed demon car from New York to Tokyo in record time. Tour city after city on the way and make points. With the cops and the enemy on your tail. They ambush you at every turn, pushing you off the road, leaping into your path. You outsmart them, firing an arsenal of oil cans you've collected in the road, knocking them out and racking up more points. Three-tiered highways connect each city. Your job: Cover every stretch of the highway in order to hit the next city. Step on it! Burn rubber. You can make it. Or can you?"

I had never heard of this series until I stumbled across Blaster Master Zero on Steam. I'll admit that I didn't give this first entry much more than 15 minutes before deciding that it was not for me. But I liked it enough to watch a longplay of it.
A scan of the box art for Blaster Master. The front cover features a monster that has two crouching legs, a mouth with sharp teeth and pincer horns coming out of where the nostrils normally are, with two spikes sticking out of its shoulders. The back blurb reads "Mega Graphics! Mega Action! The New York sewers were never like this! You've fallen down a hidden manhole into a world of creatures so terrifying they'd scare the rats away. You can panic and perish, or blast your way through an endless maze of tunnels, searching for the secret passages to your escape. And that's the easy part. Because the Masters of the Caverns lay waiting -- prehistoric creatures so powerful, so gigantic, they literally fill your screen! So load your arsenal and get ready for BlasterMaster. Authentic Arcade Edition!"

Baseball is a port of the arcade game VS. Baseball. It has been ported to many platforms but is notable for being one of the Game Boy launch titles. Sports games aren't really for me so I wasn't expecting to enjoy this one at all. And I didn't. But I'm truly not the target audience here.
A scan of the box art for Baseball on NES. The front cover has a pixellated image of a baseball being pitched towards a batter and catcher. The back blurb reads "BASEBALL. The most realistic baseball game outside of a ballpark! It's the bottom of the ninth. You're at the plate. Here comes the pitch. You swing... it's a smash deep into center-field! A home run! It's Nintendo BASEBALL. A game so real you'll think you're in the majors. You control the swing of the bat. The speed of the pitch. The hits, the steals, the double plays! Play against a computer opponent or challenge a friend. Nintendo's state-of-the-art graphics and realistic gameplay will have you really believing you're playing baseball. Just add peanuts, popcorn and cracker jacks... for the time of your life!"

There is so much unpredictable bullshit thrown at you in Battletoads that all I can picture is the developers cackling maniacally during development. Even with save scumming, I couldn't beat it and quit on the Rat Race level. I truly believe my soul has been damaged by this game.
A scan of the Battletoads box art for NES. The front has a full illustration of the three main characters (who are toads) fighting rats under the stars in a valley surrounded by pink mountains. The back blurb reads "Okay 'toads! Let's get EVEN! When the evil Dark Queen kidnaps both your best buddy and the best looking girl this side of the Mazallion Star Cluster -- what are you gonna do about it? Are you gonna cry? Hide? Call the Starcops? No way! Because you're a BATTLETOAD and BATTLETOADS get real MAD -- and then they get EVEN! So, strap on your Blaster, power-up the Toadster, and get on down to the Dark Queen's planet -- but, watch out 'toad -- this lady's bad, and she's got a whole mess of really nasty surprises lined up for you -- like the Psyko Pigs, the Mutant Ratpack, Robo-Manus and the Saturn Toadtrap, to name but a few. You're gonna need all your fighting skills to defeat her -- the Battletoad Butt, the Big Bad Boot and the Nuclear Knuckles. Hey, and don't forget to take along the Jet Turbo the Space Board and the Speed Bike. Because you're gonna need 'em all, 'toad, if you're gonna rescue your friends and get the frog outa there with your green skin intact! So let's get bad and crazy! Let's get mad, toad! And then get EVEN! For up to two players."
