Saw this going around, and I thought I'd throw my hat in the ring for the 9 games that shaped me. I know most of these are Nintendo games, but I had a lot to decide between, so I stuck to games that reflect my tastes as well as what really stuck with me. #My9Games

The covers of nine games that shaped who I am:
- Pokemon Black Version
- Xenoblade Chronicles 2
- Left 4 Dead 2
- Fire Emblem: Three Houses
- Mario Kart: Double Dash
- Tomodachi Life
- Splatoon 2
- Team Fortress 2
- Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice

So I thought today's Direct was fine, though a lot was stuff we kind of already knew was coming. These were my highlights though: - XC3 S2E info, namely the new Hero 👀 - Miis are in the background again in Switch Sports Resort! - I gotta catch up with Metroid now XP - Stoked for the new Kirby!

I just saw #CoyoteVsACME earlier today. Wanted to throw my hat in the ring that I'm proud to have supported the end result of an arduous but ultimately victorious effort I heard time and time again about. And the movie was really damn good!

“Consumerism as activism” can be a questionable tactic… but it’s worth noting: if you all see COYOTE VS ACME this weekend and make it a giant hit… you will specifically humiliate David Zaslov and make him miserable… while also seeing an entertaining and heartfelt movie. The definition of win/win.

So after spending a bit in Xenoblade 2's S2E and finally rewatching a few cutscenes, I just want to blow off some steam that I am VERY disappointed that they didn't do a partial English redub, and that hasn't helped alongside how frame drops from 1's S2E remain in this one too.

Managed to beat Splatoon Raiders' story just in time for the Xenoblade 2 S2E to drop. Think I had like 10 minutes to spare, too. Definitely something worth jotting down.

XC2S2E being near reminded me of something I've been sitting on for years: Al Weaver def had it pretty bad being treated by fans, & I've got something to show for it that I haven't seen documented anywhere else in the fandom: He USED to have an Instagram, & I'll explain what I remember seeing. 🧵

About to cross post my Al Weaver research thread from Twitter because I feel like it's also worth giving what's in it some more visibility, especially knowing a few moots that only go on here.

I can already feel like Splatoon Raiders is gonna make the wait for this fly by, but that also means I'm gonna be in a race against the clock to beat the story before this drops 😅😅😅

Still need to share more of my own Tomodachi Life island sometime, but I think it's safe to say that the hilarity of Mythra being the shopkeeper this morning market made up for a junk item showing up in it. #TomodachiLife #Xenoblade #Xenoblade2

Thanks to the thing I got for Tomodachi Drawer, I was able to have my first go at a detailed thingy for the current #Splatfest. Let's see if it gains some traction in the game. 👀 #Splatoon #Splatoon3 #TeamPower

So I decided to do my first full visit to AX since 2019 after doing a single day visit last year, and long story short is that while it still seemed better than pre-pandemic, and I managed to get some good out of it, it also felt like a step back from last year.

Holy fuck I couldn't fully take in everything that was announced in those Xenoblade S2Es, but my one wish right now is that they did some partial redubbing for 2 since they already confirmed new voiced content for the other games. Freaking please

I've been rather busy with physical therapy following my surgery, as well as Tomodachi Life being my unwind from those among other things, but one thing I do wanna share from my island is that TomodachiDrawer tool has been a godsend because I can put stuff like this in:

I was too busy to mention it yesterday, but I now realize I've been cancer free for 9 years now. I can't believe it's been that long already. Maybe COVID messed with my sense of time, but even now it doesn't feel like it was too long ago, but the numbers don't lie.

One successful hair experiment led to my own Mii of Skyla from Pokémon! I took it upon myself to try making her since TomodachiShare was down and I couldn't find one anywhere before release, which is kinda shocking. #TomodachiLife #Mii

I stayed up til almost 4 playing Tomodachi Life last night after copping it at 10AM yesterday (with breaks in between). That's definitely gotta be saying something, especially when I'm only 6 residents in.

BriefCasey @briefcasey795.bsky.social · 15/04/2026

I probably should have shared these sooner, but in my time with the demo, I've drawn up 3 Miis and have shared the instructions on TomodachiShare: - Bernadetta ( #FE3H #FireEmblemThreeHouses ) - Great Grandma ( #RapsittieStreetKids ) - Rex (who I spent a lot of time tweaking😅 #Xenoblade2)

Tomodachi Life's tomorrow and this couldn't be more fitting given how YTPMV Elf has been a bit synonymous with the excitement for the inclusiveness in this game (helps that Best Buy opens at 10 in my area too)

Saw the Galaxy Movie a little while ago. I wanna say I liked it more than the original, though I really wish a certain someone stayed a surprise.😶 Post credits scene kinda made up for that though, and that's all I'll say.

Had a lot of fun with the Tomodachi Life demo all day today. Makes it harder to wait until release.😅 However, I will say my only major complaint is the customization not being as intuitive as Miitopia's, which means you can't assign stuff to eyes, mouth, etc.

Well, actually, that would be MAMA LUIGI! Now, GANON … oh, that’s much worse. They’ll… make a DINNER from your freshly peeled OKTOROK. They’ll shave your PINGAS. Squeeze the CUM from your BALLS! Actually, it’s quite good on THE BAGEL.

Not to shoot the messenger, but I really hope Universal doesn't keep adding these shows undubbed forever. On one hand, it's still good to see the IP repped, but on the other, I can't help but dread how hard it'll be for me to keep up with the subtitles and what's happening on screen in a 4D ride.

With a price like that, this seems to be the way to go for the Xenoblade games on Switch 2. Really do hope Xenoblade 2's is like ACNH where a big QOL patch drops at the same time as its own S2E.

I forgot to say this earlier, but I'll admit, 2025 wasn't very kind to me for multiple reasons on my personal life, especially the stuff in our government in particular. That's not to say that it was all doom and gloom, but all things considered, I sincerely hope 2026 is a better year for me.

Hey y'all, I'd like to bring attention to how there's been someone impersonating me on Steam since about 2 months ago, to the point where they tried tricking several Steam friends that I unfriended them by accident. Unfortunately, they're still at large. steamcommunity.com/profiles/765...
