Hey, as a librarian I need to tell you: Our funding depends on usage. So go ahead and check out that book even if you don't think you'll finish it. No one will know. Check out that DVD even though you might not like it. Get ambitious in your quest for knowledge.

I used the instructions here as I was getting fed-up of the AI result appearing. tenbluelinks.org I use duckduckgo on my phone (it has ai search too but you can disable it easily enough) but for college research I prefer Google search.

I would recommend reading it despite the effort required, it deepened my connection to Dublin as a city and the literary styles of the different chapters make it fascinating to study/mull over.

I finally read it a few years ago with @ulysses80.bsky.social. I did have several other books to help me through it (Annotations and chapter summaries and analysis) so it was a bit of a project, definitely time-consuming.

Delighted that @ulysses80.bsky.social is back again this year. It helped me to finally read Ulysses, after several unsuccessful attempts over the years. And the weekly talks were so interesting. A set few pages a day over 80 days was manageable for me, it was just too intimidating otherwise!
