First book bought on Friday at Eastercon, finished on Sunday. A remarkable book, a stealth autobiography of one of science fiction's greatest writers, masquerading as a collection of literary criticism.
The Recollections by Christoper Priest.

The cover is yellow like an old Gollancz sf book, with title on top and author at the bottom in red letters.

Bought mine today. Go thou and do likewise. It captures CP's voice so well. Some of the pieces I had already, some were new to me, but overall a compelling deep dive into his life, work and attitudes to writing. That he cared, deeply and genuinely, about good writing is the main takeaway.
