My grandmother has been in assisted living for 9 months. They returned her medications to the family because she is moving facilities and it turns out the care givers hadn’t even used one of the provided 90-day supply of any of her drugs. In nine months. So… lawyer recommendations?

Yes! I assume some are? A few definitely looked like botched repairs— one has a steel plate in it. One “bump” sign had lost a bolt so it was hanging low and upside down. Trees obscured the rest on the NB lane. They are like every 10 yards.

Really cool that the speed humps on NB Compton on the I-64 bridge are unmarked and sorta just look like any other asphalt in disrepair in St. Louis. My struts thank you.

Again, there is clear evidence a data center moratorium would peel far more votes away from the GOP than the 10-15 (not thousand, literally 10-15 total) who might switch over this same crowd’s demand to betray queer people. It’s malpractice that the party won’t ditch these professional losers.

Bank of America and JP Morgan Chase made predictions that September would see a sell off of AI and tech stocks and now here comes a barrage of headlines from whistle blowers and CEOs describing how dangerous and even deadly the tech is? Almost like they knew or something.

July 27th vs August 28th. The giant corpse flower grows 2-4 inches per day when it is breaking dormancy. This started as a tiny seedling about 8 inches tall and the stem was maybe as thick as a pencil. It will go dormant in late winter or early spring and usually wakes up for me in June or July.
A white man with a gray tank top and orange gym shorts hold the same clay pot with the now-leafed out plant. The stem is 3 inches across and the leaves reach up 4 feet. He is pictured in front of a white garage door.A Terra cotta pot with a small pointed green and reticulated growth poking up from mulch. A ruler is placed next to it marking it approximately 6 inches tall. Some garden plants can be seen in the mid ground and a white home is the backdrop.

Not to mention why is it “democrats fit their district[ideologically]” only when defending diet republicans and not as a defense of progressives in deep blue NYC seats.

The Tea Party was the best thing to happen to the GOP since Reagan. They cemented a decade+ of control from 2012-2021 when Democrats only won the senate by tie-breaking with the VP. Progressive wins should be embraced as vigor not a liability.

At this exact moment sandbags are being filled in New Orleans, Tornado sirens are going off in Missouri, wildfire evacuations are underway in Washington and 56% of the Lower 48 are experiencing a drought. Are we gonna talk about how rapidly climate change is making this planet inhospitable??

Literally when will they get the point. Senate dems are so short sighted they are going to give more money to the agents who will eventually arrest them too. The body cameras they demand will record their own detention— only to end up on a White House social media feed.

This moment can be boiled down to post-9/11 fanaticism over “national security”. A bullshit term used by the govt to take what they want from you, your neighbors, and from other nations. That is the question we must ask ourselves now— is that something we want to perpetuate?

Literally only the democrats would mobilize the national guard to further police anti-ICE protestors. Obviously the solution to public opposition to overbearing law enforcement presence is more law enforcement. Every day the democrats fumble harder than I thought possible.

Wild coincidence that every video of an ICE agent tackling someone involves them pulling their neck gator up and over their face somewhere between the first yells for attention that alert them they are on camera and before they place their hands on someone’s neck.

Exposure in Gaza is just as much a weapon as starvation or the bombs themselves. Winter rain and cold is approaching to a population with no shelter, electricity, running water, or food. Palestinians will continue to die at the hands of Israel even if another bullet is never fired.

Chicago is a great example of how to prevent military takeover of your city. They parked plows and city vehicles to prevent ice trucks from moving freely, they instructed local law enforcement to not cooperate, and they took to the media to say no. Still no LA-style invasion yet.

I think the reason Wesley Bell grinds my gears so much is because if you knew him before 2024 you’d know that he is full of bullshit. AIPAC bucks ascribed him a new set of policy positions. Once the Cori Bush to Bob McCullough’s Lacy Clay, now is no more than a cog in the system he swore to change.
