USMC Ret. Lt. Colonel Joe Plenzler deployed with the same Marine battalion now heading to Los Angeles. Marines training for war are now being deployed against American citizens. This crosses a dangerous line. Brothers, remember your ethos, #RememberYourOath.

Trump is demanding that DOGE investigate polls after his favorability numbers tanked so badly that even Fox News couldn’t spin them to look good. He’s calling it all “fraud.” Seems like a very “efficient” use of tax dollars.

In only four episodes, ADOLESCENCE (Netflix) has managed to wrench my guts every bit as much as the complete series of THE WIRE. Stephen Graham is a revelation. The show is incredible.

Actor Stephen Graham's character, Eddie, wearing a blue hoodie and standing in a parking lot, looking forlorn, surrounded by policemen.

Nine days earlier than expected, I found myself in Bree at the Prancing Pony. And even received a little #reward for my journey. #theconquerorchallenges

If you’re a federal employee, you should know this is a lie. Congress hasn’t appropriated these monies and so it’s literally not there to be spent. Also, federal agencies are limited by law to a max $25K payout in the case of restructuring.

"Shout's 4K UHD does justice to Mikael Salomon's photography with a pretty splendid transfer... doc is the most informative program produced about the film..." Nice review of FAR AND AWAY. They also call out the doc Jon Donahue & I created, edited by Frank Mohler. www.blu-ray.com/movies/Far-a...

Pin this, save it, we’ll need it. “When a prison camp opens in your town…when a DREAMer is disappeared from your classroom…when the President destroys what’s left of the Constitution…They will all say they didn’t know this was coming. And I want the American people to know that they did.” AOC 🔥🎯

Ahead of the NFC Championship game, someone sent me this beautiful Jayden Daniels @wshcommanders.bsky.social jersey. No note. No idea who sent it, but thank you very much! I'll wear it with pride on Sunday! Go Commanders!

I am unreasonably excited about my new toy and all of the possibilities it unlocks.

A red Kitchen Aid mixer with a slicer/shredder attachment sits on a countertop.

In the last two days, I've managed to "travel" 9.16 miles, putting me on pace to hit Bree and the Prancing Pony in five weeks. Should reach Bag End without much effort tomorrow. #fitness #walking #lotr #Tolkien #fellowship
