Doctors have recently advised that, as vaping is so damaging to health, those who vape can switch to smoking temporarily as a means of eventually quitting altogether.

Let’s be clear: Israel, an occupier, has no authority under international law to board or divert the Madleen. This is a hijacking, plain and simple. A hijacking of a UK-registered ship, with multiple *European* citizens on board. Does the EU or UK government have anything to say? Anything??

Democrats are surging in the polls ahead of November 👏 Fox News has Democrats up 7 on the generic congressional ballot, and Pew has Trump at just 34% approval. Troy Jackson is leading Susan Collins in Maine. And James Talarico continues to draw record crowds in Texas. The wave is building.

Dear Labour supporters. If you want to put me off voting Green rather than Labour, the key is *not* to attack the Greens, but to ask yourself why I, a life-long Labour supporter, who has voted Labour at every GE since 1983 (my first), can't support Labour. Look at yourselves. Look at your party.

I love this so much! At the inauguration, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson wore a distinctive collar adorned with cowrie shells, which are believed to offer protection from evil in African traditions. This choice mirrors the late Justice Ginsburg’s practice of using collars to convey a message.

Most of the power of authoritarianism is freely given. In times like these, individuals think ahead about what a more repressive government will want, and offer themselves without being asked. A citizen who adapts in this way is teaching power what it can do. - Timothy Snyder

Deaf and Disabled people should have been consulted fairly and lawfully on this very serious matter, but proposed reforms were not adequately explained. We are also arguing that the real motivation was to cut disability benefits, which was not disclosed by the Government.
