Another of this week's acquisitions, this 1951 thriller was written by a Hungarian refugee who found a home in New York. It takes place in Montreal, which is interesting in itself, but it's the uncredited cover that grabs. Whoever it was, they really knew the city. #canlit #cdnhist #booksky #mtl
