Maybe ten years ago, some colleagues visited Western China, an area that was primarily Uyghur. There were cameras on every street corner. And the streets were *silent*. No one said a word because they did not want to be recorded saying the wrong words. We are on that path, friends.

Even if I *think* I'm pretty good at Getting Out Of My Own Head, I still *constantly* surprise myself by discovering that I don't much. Relatedly, something I often hear around the Recovery Tables: "I spend most of my day thinking about my favorite thing. Me." And they are trying to be of service!
