I've spoken with some folks in my school district, but absolutely agree. If you are in a corporation that follows Title IX at all, this is the moment to jump ship to BSKY. The line has been drawn and if you feel comfortable denying services to marginalized folks, X is the place to be.

Doing the unthinkable: The deep cuts to the #CDC's workforce today are expected to decimate the Epidemic Intelligence Service, a program that has trained public health rapid responders for decades. Envy of the world. Poof! www.statnews.com/2025/02/14/t...

Deciding if Dems are just truly complicit in the current dismantling of US systems and norms or are afraid of the vacuum he'd produce is a fun game no one wants to play.

Imo, the "symbolic" aspect of every move since Jan 20 has been to showcase the failed nature of the US system in the face of Tech-oligarchy. Idk if the US Worker will wake up in time to regain control of the vehicle before it's driven off a cliff though.

You can listen to T.S. Eliot's The Four Quartets at any time, and be reminded of both your own temporality and the temporary of all challenges or concerns. While also being reminded of the infinite presence of a sustaining and present source of all Love.

Imo there is absolutely a "unifying strategy" to every move so far. Kill the US as a global leader, Kill NATO, and allow geopolitical competitors to grow by the diminishing of aspects of the US that served the people over profits. It's accelerationism from wall to wall.

A ponderous chain is actually so on the nose they can't escape it. Imo, our oligarchs struggle visibly because they are experiencing what happens to a human when they no longer have human concerns, but their comfort is at the expense of other people entirely. Some real One Ring energy out here.

A revelation that hit me during my conversation w/ @pernille.bsky.social is the tension & pressure of training American teachers to be superheroes needed to rescue kids from failing economic systems while ignoring those systemic failures. The demand to be superhuman is ultimately dehumanizing.

Part of me wonders if a lot of these moves are designed to agitate the most religious core of his supporters against him directly *as* an antichrist caricature. The goal and aim is disruption, across the board, and agitating, activating, and legitimizing as many violent groups as possible, imo.

If we had single payer healthcare, ubiquitous housing, access to food and clean water, and equity in education I bet the phone problem wouldn't be so bad. We need to deal with phones. We need to not pretend like they are the whole of the mental health crisis.

Man I bet there's a real banger of a bible verse about wicked people running free to spite the good. It'd be like, Proverbs 17:15 or something like that. Probably go, "He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous are both alike an abomination to the Lord." Or something like that.

I'm not convinced that what is going on right now isn't the US speed running an oligarchy to justify a takeover that the people support. The decisions are all like, uniquely designed to make people aware of weaknesses of the US system at large from multiple angles.

Solid read, and it's wild how much Shakespearean understanding of political power as an extension of arrogance and greed was just spot on apparently in all times. Lol, I'm also teaching Macbeth in this season, same notes. Oh Scotland, indeed.
