At the end of the first scene Lynda said to Martyn 'Enjoy your drink', indicating that she was leaving the bar to go & sit with Robert. At the beginning of the second scene, she said 'I just came back for some more ice', showing she had just returned. #TheArchers

My brain is all over the place at the moment. Brief panic earlier when I couldn't find my keys. Bigger worry when I realised I'd left them in the outside keyhole of the front door when I came in yesterday, something I haven't done for years, possibly ever. Thank goodness they were still there 😮‍💨

My late husband had a story from 6th form (boarding, 1970s) about a friend of his somehow lowering a toy spider on a string behind the headmaster while he was giving a Very Serious Talk. Apparently none of the staff spotted it 🤷‍♀️. The small boys in the front row got a bollocking for laughing.

I thought Anna was rude initially, but I think now I should've had more sympathy. I remembered a letter I got after Mr S died from an elderly cousin of his. It was well-meaning, but it was all about how much she missed her husband. He died at 88, Mr S was 69. I didn't find it helpful. #TheArchers

I think that's the first time we've been told Heather's age: 74 when she died in 2015. I'd imagined she was older. Her husband Solly was on the verge of retirement when he died in 2002. They must have been 27 & 31 when Ruth was born in 1968. Again, I'd imagined they were older. #TheArchers

Brief history of Carol in Ambridge. Carol Grey moved to Ambridge in 1954. She married Charles Grenville (father of Richard) in 1961 then, after he conveniently died, John Tregorran (father of Anna) in 1967. She & John moved to Bristol in 1990. #TheArchers
