Fantastic event last night focused on Collaboration for Knowledge to enable Healthy, Safe and Sustainable buildings. So many ideas and thoughts around how to do things better and a chance to honour Hywel Davies for his contributions to better buildings over so many years

Measles cases continue to surge globally, putting millions of children at risk. More than 10 million people globally were infected with measles in 2023, a 20% increase from the previous year. bit.ly/48SAtkf
Measles is preventable with two doses of measles vaccine; yet more than 22 million children missed their first dose of measles vaccine in 2023. Globally, an estimated 83% of children received their first dose of measles vaccine last year, while only 74% received the recommended second dose.

Today’s data shows that emissions of many air pollutants reduced across the UK between 2022 & 2023, continuing a trend of reduction since 1970. This includes a reduction in PM2.5 – the pollutant of greatest concern to health – by 76% since 1990, and by 6% since 2022. 1/5 www.gov.uk/government/s...
