Can we humanise peer review? - LSE Impact
The peer review system is in trouble, but a more human relational approach could run against imperatives for increasingly routinised and scalable peer review.

How can #hope & active citizenship emerge via #co-production? Our research on collaborator experiences mapped how 🤝 Relationships developed 🥕 #foodsystems knowledge expanded ✊ People gained advocacy-related skills, beliefs & capacities 💚 Hope for change grew See: bit.ly/Hope_CoPro #CoProWeek2026
This diagram illustrates how immediate outcomes (e.g. being listened to, gaining practical advocacy experiences, building relationships) led to further outcomes such as building confidence or increasing desires and beliefs around making change.

In turn these outcomes combine and lead to further outcomes such as action-oriented hope and active citizenship.
