While not all #epilepsy is genetic, genetic testing is transforming how Epilepsy is treated. By identifying specific mutations, doctors can move away from "trial and error" and toward targeted therapies that work for a person’s unique biology. #NationalDNADay #EpilepsyAwareness

Effective epilepsy advocacy starts with a strong partnership in the exam room. Today we celebrate the neurologists and epileptologists who don't just treat a condition, but see the person behind the diagnosis. #NationalDoctorsDay #EpilepsyAwareness
Just think how awesome someone must be if there is an army of doctors lining up to study their brain?

Wait, does celebrating #PurpleDay2026 mean we're celebrating #epilepsy? No. Of course not. We're celebrating the community of people who have it, our doctors and caregivers who help us, and the advocates who give their voice. Our strength is in our numbers. #EpilepsyAwareness

For #InternationalWomensDay, it is vital to shine a light on the intersection of neurology and reproductive health. Catamenial epilepsy, or where seizure patterns are tied to the menstrual cycle, affects ~40% of women with epilepsy. #EpilepsyAwareness brainablaze.com/blog/why-doe...
