Mississippi cattlemen work hard to keep their operations going. But when diesel prices keep climbing, that gets a lot harder. We need to end the war in Iran & bring down the cost of diesel here at home. Our farmers shouldn’t have to choose between keeping their operation running & making ends meet.

Diesel costs add to expenses for cattle producers
Cattle prices are still holding at high levels, even though they have come down from the highs seen this spring.

Part of public service is answering to the public. This isn’t hard. If you’re going to ask Mississippians for their vote, the least you can do is answer their questions. Cindy Hyde-Smith has refused to do that for six years. On November 3rd, it’s time to send her packing.

A new Data for Progress poll, fielded August 5–15, finds Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith underwater with voters in the state and leading District Attorney Scott Colom by only 6 points, 44% to 38% in the initial three-way ballot with Independent Ty Pinkins at 7%. Colom, still unknown to a majority of the state, gains ground as voters learn more about him: after short candidate biographies, the three-way race is tied at 40% for Colom and Hyde-Smith, and Colom edges ahead to 46% to 45% in the two-way.

It takes you 20 paragraphs to get to the part of the article where they admit that Mamdani isn't paying the influencers and the reason they are posting videos of the stuff Mamdani is doing is because people are interested in watching it.
The mayor’s office says that it does not pay the influencers. Still, their proximity and access to a figure as popular as Mr. Mamdani can help increase their own social media following and, by extension, potentially put them in a position to attract paid content sponsorships from commercial brands. Some influencers said that when they feature Mr. Mamdani, the videos get more likes and viewers watch longer.
