Hellwares battle UI mock-up. It needs to show: - up to 6 characters - names and portraits - up to 10 hp - attack cooldowns, keys and selected attack - human player number (if needed) - team color (if needed) I need some feedback before implementing it, is it ok? Too cluttered? #HELLWARES #gamedev

Hellwares battle UI mockup, made to figure out the positions and how much space they occupy at maximum capacity: 6 characters, each with their own portrait, name, and colors, up to 10 hp, 4 attacks with cooldowns and assigned keys. The arena only has two characters but that's irrelevant, they are here to show where the player number (p1, p2) and team color would be placed.

FYI the HUGE number of AI slop at GamesCom's opening night live is not a sign that the industry has normalized AI. It's a ploy to make you believe that. These games are all by the same 3 or 4 publishers. This is a concerted effort to make consumers accept AI.

A few people have wanted to know how this works: the mechanism is pretty simple. The site checks if your browser says it's coming from one of these sites. If so, you get the "AI loser" page. The link on the page strips out the "utm_source" parameter and referrer, so you only see it once.

A screenshot of PHP code that checks for a "utm_source" parameter of "chatgpt.com" or "copilot.com", and also checks for a referer matching chatgpt, perplexity AI, copilot, claude, and gemini. if any check matches, you are considered an AI loser
