The core of this worldview isn't rooted in partisanship or foreign policy positions but about who has the right to political expression. Purity tests must only be applied against out-groups, not the in-group, and any attempt to shift the border will be resisted furiously.

How on earth do people think there can be a non-racist ethnonationalism, let alone one that has been actively engaged in racial supremacist genocide for 80 years? Actually existing Zionism is and always has been a frankly völkisch ideology. It is not as if it took any sort of leave from Moses Hess.

These people do not, in fact, oppose it. That’s why they are behaving like this, it’s why Adam was one of the central figure in hounding and expelling all of Labour’s Jewish antizionists. I am not discussing this with people who pretend they don’t know this. You know it very well.

The Pope seems not to have an account here, so here is a screenshot from the Nazi site. That he remains there is disappointing, if understandable. But I think it worth posting to show what he is saying about ‘AI’, and how infinitely preferable it is to what we hear from other political leaders.
Pope Leo XIV on Twitter:
‘In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.’

Later today protesters will demand 'No Palantir in our NHS'
While they protest, someone, somewhere will get an operation scheduled earlier, a cancer diagnosis quicker, a loved one home from hospital sooner - thanks to the software that those protesters would switch off.
Here is what you won't hear. Trusts using the software have recorded:
• 117,000 additional operations
• 14.3 per cent reduction in discharge delays for long stay patients
• 5.6 per cent improvement in the number of people receiving a cancer diagnosis within 28 days
As a more articulate person once said: 'certain facts, although in a sense known to be true, are inadmissible.'

Means testing is a really good example of how "fairness" is one of the most malleable concepts out there. Comfortables insist it is fair because it soothes their fears a peasant might get more than they "deserve". That it's inefficient and makes getting help more difficult isn't unfair to them.
